Lilac Or Purple Cow

Lilac or Purple Cow drawn by Heleen (the Netherlands) on the back of a packet of biscuits. I have always thought that this cow and the Laughing Cow could be good friends...

VQR in Casablanca

Great VQR mural spotted in Casablanca. And it is illuminated at night!

La Vache Qui Schtroumfp!

Received from Heleen (the Netherlands). How else could have the idea of drawing this on a tetra brick of organic milk?!?

Parce que la Vache qui rit aussi a des dents...

Front

Envelope made of a page of a magazine made by Christophe (France). How can he fold a page in such a clever way?

Back

The yellow stamp, I do not why, is one of my favourites of all times. So cheerful!

Suus' Mail Art

VQR mail art sent by Suus in Mokum (the Netherlands). Previously published in her blog.

It arrived inside a transparent plastic pocket, as you can see. With the cowstamp on the outside. Clever!

Cows Are Pretty

Send by Phillip (the USA). This is a famous work by Andy WarholCow (1966). Inexplicably, I had not received it yet...

VQR 4 Seasons

You can travel trough the four seasons of the year just eating The Laughing Cow cheese...

Sent to Heleen (the Netherlands), FinnBadger (the USA) and Keith (idem), in order to thank their contributions to the project.

Inspiring

On the back of yesterday's envelope sent by Phillip (the USA), there was also a nice drawing:

Do you remember it? Yes, it was one of Heleen's drawings! She was inspired by her daughter's old notebook, and then she inspired another artist...I love that. And, of course, I don't agree with Phillip's words: the cow is nice and made me laugh (that is the purpose of laughing cows, isn't it?).

Rire, ça donne des ailes!

Sent by Christophe (France)
I am fascinated by Christophe's collages and the way he is able to fold paper.  One day I must try to made an envelope from a magazine this way...

Evanescent Cow

Sent by Micu (Hungary).

I think this is the most ephemeral art I have ever received. This is painted with chalk on a toilet paper cardboard (I guess). The chalk was still visible when it arrived but I am not sure that it will remain long time. It says nevető tehén ('laughing cow' in Hungarian).

Sincerely a Cow

Envelope given by FinnBadger (the USA) and send back to Kate (the USA). I have always wanted to write a postcard in round!

La Maison de la vache qui rit

New awesome VQR mail art received from Christophe (France). So many cows!

It also included two cowstamps I had never received and some pieces of cowliterature (cowdictionaries, indeed):

And inside, a brochure of the Laughing Cow's home: La Maison de la vache qui rit. I wouldn't mind to visit the place one day...

Oz & VQR

Sent by Heleen (the Netherlands)

When I started my second project (Oz Postcard Project) the less I expected was to receive a postcard that would include the Laughing Cow and some Ozites (Tin Woodman and the Cowardly Lion). That postcard drawn by Heleen is just brilliant!

This idea had never occured to me... But after a short consideration I'm sure that the VQR could live really happy in the land of Oz!

What an envelope!

How many cows can you count on this non-birthday packet sent by John (the UK)? I wonder how it arrived with all the stickers in their place.

Oh, and wait: you have not seen the back yet!

I enjoyed some details:
