English Cow in Morocco

I have received this from John (the UK) some time ago, but I have never seen that they sell this flavour in Morocco. What amazes me the most is the name in English (and only in English).

They have added a label in Arabic on the back. I guess it is compulsory if you want to sell this here.

Moroccan Barbecue

This is a new flavour in Morocco. And this is also the first time that I see the Arabic name written first (and with bigger letters) than the French name.

If you have a look at the gallery, you can see that usually it is (was) the opposite. Also in the Omani boxes. I wonder how it is in the rest of Arabic countries...

What are you doing here?

I have received some unexpected pieces for this project lately. Heleen (the Nethelands) sent two boxes of new (for me) variety: the mini cubes. I have received so far the apéricubes (from France) and the party cubes (from Canada). These differences in the names and in the flavours are amazing.

The boxes were filled with little surprises:

But no trace of cheese. Guess why?

Oh, you can say sorry one thousand times, but I still think you are a couple of naughty devils!

24 non-LVQR portions

Sent by Heleen (the Netherlands)

Folded box which arrived inside a nice envelope with cowstamps:

Side-side

Sent by Heleen (the Netherlands)

She sent this box unopened (Heleen's style, I mean) to attract my attention to how many languages they use in the side-side. Why they use these and not those languages in the different countries remains a mystery for me. In this box bought in the Netherlands you can read all these words for portionsportionen, portions, porties, portioner, porsjoner, porzioni, μεριδεσ and puntjes.

See also the different faces of VQR: eye-opened, eye-closed, blinking...

White Gold

The cow of these box of or blanc (='white gold') is not exactly laughing...

Safe and Sound

Sent by Phyllis (USA)

The clerk who handled the cowmail, Phyllis' friend, was somewhat sceptical that the box would get through the customs. She even had to fill a custom declaration form - happily I could unstick it. But finally the box arrived safe and sound, after two weeks.

Sending the whole box could be too expensive. Of course it is ok to cut the front of the box and make a round postcard.

Anyway, I am very happy when I receive the boxes naked like this one. And, mmm... I am not worried at all about the post office workers thinking I am somewhat crazy...

Big triangles

From Michel (France)

Michel sent the whole box, not just the front part. I was surprised to realise that it had contained 12 triangles, and not 8 or 16 (or multiples of 8) as usual. So the triangles were bigger than usual! How curious.

Not so difficult...

Sent by Heleen (the Netherlands)

Can you eat the triangles without opening the box? Apparently it is impossible, but there are people prepared to everything in order to keep the box untouched!

Rectangular boxes

Rectangular boxes? Square portions? What a silly idea! At least, they drew a happy cow on the box...
