Evanescent Cow

I think this is the most ephemeral art I have ever received. This is painted with chalk on a toilet paper cardboard (I guess). The chalk was still visible when it arrived but I am not sure that it will remain long time. It says nevető tehén ('laughing cow' in Hungarian).

Two collages

Two collages sent by Micu (Hungary). I find them really cheerful, don't you? As you can see, she reused different materials even, in the base of the second postcard... the tube of toilet paper!

The collages arrived inside a handmade envelope made of Grada Padano cheese packaging (eco-friendly mail!), but without stamps. They disappeared in way. Maybe due to the smooth surface of the envelope?

Some facts about this handmade postcard make me love it:

• The addition of the little piece of fabric that makes it original and realistic.
• The portions are incredibly big: 33g!
• It is a new brand (for me, of course). I don't know how this word is pronounced in Hungarian, but in my language maco means 'beautiful'. And the bear looks very elegant, don't you agree?
• By the way... Why in Hungary they like so much bears appearing in cheese boxes?
• The illustration uses the recursion as well as the VQR illustrations do. Mise en abyme or recursion or Droste effect is an artistic technique in which a image contains a smaller copy of itself, in a sequence appearing to recur infinitely. In theory, of course. Practically it continues only as long as the resolution of the picture allows. But we can imagine bear-waiters forever...

Brie

Two new brands for the project! The first one is Hungarian (at least, it says that Hungarian love that, if Google Translator doesn't lie). But the second one, Cantorel, is French cheese distributed by a Catalan company. Of course I prefer the second; not for these reason but for the not-laughing-but-smiling cow.

The Laughing Dwarfs

Handmade postcard made of cheese packaging. I have never seen this brand before. Of course it is a pity that there is no cow but... Did you realise these nice dwarfs are also laughing? Cows, people and other people are also laughing on cheese packaging. Curious thing.

I love these round boxes of cheese even if there is not the VQR on them. In fact, the first one of these postcards I sent belonged to a different brand (I will post it later). It is amazing to check that ALWAYS appears a cow on the box!

Mini Babybel

Have you realised that the VQR also appears in the Mini Babybel cheese? This brand belongs to the same corporation. But the VQR doesn't appear always on Babybel packs (?!).
